We love to play challenge with the kiddos, but you know what? It’s fun for adults too. Especially if you add wine, hint-hint.
Basically this is a monthly subscription box that sends you fun challenges to solve, in 60 minutes or less. It’s kind of like the “Minute to Win It” game show that used to be on television with longer challenges you have more time to complete.
You never know exactly what you’re going to get! It could be puzzles, brain teasers, or some other problem to solve.
And as an added bonus, Box of Challenge donates 5% of their profits to NGOs dedicated to assisting people with disabilities. This makes our heart sing.
What You Should Know: The monthly challenges are built around specific themes like circus, UFOs, or geometry. It’s recommended for 2-6 players, and your kids need to be a little older (8 and up) to be able to complete some of the more challenging tasks. We wouldn’t recommend this for really young kids.
Each box is designed for a 60-minute challenge. It includes between 4 and 5 challenges your team needs to tackle. Inside the information booklet, you get complete instructions for each task. Each Box of Challenge also includes a QR code that leads you to an inspirational element or instructions.
Each task has a difficulty rating from easy to hard. You may be asked to build things, solve puzzles, do a task blindfolded…you just never know. Plus you’re always trying to beat the clock. It’s a fun adrenaline rush that really teaches you how to work together!
Each box also includes the current record holder for that particular challenge. If your team breaks a record time, you can win some cool prizes! You just need to post a video on Facebook proving your time (instructions are included).
