Why We Like It: One of the main things we like about the Evenflo Big Kid AMP Booster car seat is its ability to grow with your child. Once your little one hits the weight and height requirements to graduate to a booster seat, you’ll be able to keep him or her safe longer by using the easy, one-handed adjuster to raise it through six different heights. Once the seat becomes not tall enough, and your child can sit in a backless booster, you can easily remove the back and use your car seat’s headrests. (Though we recommend keeping your child in the high-back booster as long as possible for safety reasons).
Another fun perk is that you can choose the style of your seat. All seats are black or gray, but some have floral or sprocket designs so your big kid can pick the style that best fits his or her personality. The many design options are one thing that makes Evenflo stand out from the crowd of car seats.
The Big Kid AMP Seat also gets high marks in comfort. The seat, back and side support are all covered in soft padding to make sure the seat is cozy in case your child wants to take a nap. Cup holders positioned on the base of the seat also make it possible for your little one to keep a drink handy.

Cons: A few parents complained that the booster seat was not tethered to the vehicle’s seat and could be moved around. While this is true, booster seats are only designed to lift your child to the correct seat belt height, which this one does with a high safety rating to boot.
