The penguins are super cute and the book’s illustrations are great. Large simple shapes and uncluttered pastel backgrounds will appeal to very young children. Kids will also enjoy spotting the pink pail, which is right in front of Flo’s eyes. Plus Bob’s antics are pretty darn funny, which can help ease the tension of starting a new experience.
