Category: Value Jogger
Weight: 27 lbs.
Size: 21 x 47 x 41 in
Capacity: Up to 55 lbs. (most experts say to wait until baby is at least 6 mos. old to start jogging with them)
Car Seat Compatibility: Stroller can accept any of the Baby Trend Flex-Loc or Inertia Infant Car Seats to make a travel system.
Why We Like It: This is a great jogger for the price! The Expedition Jogging Stroller features large bicycle tires and a front swivel wheel that can be unlocked for low speed maneuvering or locked into place for jogging. It also comes with a parent tray with two cup holders and a storage compartment and child tray with a cup holder. The stroller is easy to push, and worked well on both flat surfaces as well as gravel and grass. It folds easily too, with a trigger release and compact fold.
The Expedition has a multi-position reclining padded seat, a 5 point safety harness, and a fully adjustable canopy to block our sun or wind. The stroller has a narrower width and shorter wheelbase that makes it easy to turn, it’s quite maneuverable. Our fitness walking and casual jogger parents really like this stroller. You get a lot of bang for the buck.
Cons: The Expedition doesn’t have any suspension, which means it probably won’t work for more ‘serious’ runners that plan to use it regularly over long distances. A series runner will likely want something designed for long runs like a BOB Revolution SE or BOB Flex.
Final thoughts, casual runners looking for a budget-friendly choice will be happy with what the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger offers. The pneumatic tires move over a variety of terrains easily, making it a good choice for fitness walking or short runs.
