A 4-year-old boy British boy is being praised for saving his mother’s life after he found her unconscious and used Siri to call for help.
London Metropolitan Police released audio from the child’s emergency call to 999 (the British equivalent of 911). The transcript shows the young boy used clever thinking in what must have been a very scary situation.
His mother had collapsed and was completely unresponsive. The child thought to press his mother’s thumb to the phone to unlock it and then used Siri to dial emergency. The police have released audio of the call in the hopes of inspiring more parents to teach their kids how to call for help, and to memorize their home address so they can provide it in an emergency.
