Fall is so much fun! Cooler weather, pretty leaves, pumpkin-spice everything, and of course, Halloween! One of our favorite seasonal activities this time of year has got to be cuddling up and reading some spooky Halloween books for kids.
It immediately puts us in the Halloween spirit and gets us ready for carving jack-o’-lanterns and doing some serious trick or’ treating!

Here’s some of our very favorite Halloween books for kids. We’ve got some for younger kids that are more funny than spooky. And some for braver or older kids that are a little more creepy.

1. Room On The Broom

That’s why this is one of our favorite Halloween books for kids. It’s got creatures doing everything you’d expect in a haunted house; practicing spells, stirring brews, weaving webs, and just getting everyone in the mood for a little trick or treat.
4. It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

Age: 4-8 Years Old
It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is a classic TV show we ALL grew up watching every year. Come on, you know you loved it.
So that makes this one of the most classic halloween books for kids.
This printed version is a retelling of the popular television show. The story is a little shorter, but it’s still got all the beloved characters from the original.
Linus is still certain the Great Pumpkin will rise out of the pumpkin patch to bring toys to all the children of the world. Could this be the year that it finally happens? Read along with your kids to find out.
